trust / data residency
Your workspace data lives in the United States.
Yantra is a US company. The systems that hold your account, chats, files, memory and backups run in US data centers. Where a feature reaches beyond them, this page says so.

● the exceptions
When data leaves.
Only when you use a feature that runs on someone else's network.
AI model providers
To answer a prompt, Yantra sends the text and files that prompt needs to the model provider running it, such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Google. Providers process it under their own terms, some in data centers outside the US, and our agreements bar them from training on it.
Connectors and channels you turn on
When you connect a service like Gmail or Slack, or chat through iMessage or Telegram, the data that service needs goes to it, and to the relay that links it to Yantra, wherever they run.
The cloud Computer and code sandboxes
The cloud Computer runs on Cloudflare's global network and code previews run in E2B sandboxes. Neither is pinned to the US today.
Pages and files you publish
Sites you publish and files you share publicly are served from edge locations around the world, so they load fast for your visitors.

● questions
Asked often.
Where is my Yantra data stored?
Your account, chats, workspace records, the files you attach, agent memory and backups are stored in US data centers run by Google Cloud (South Carolina and US multi-region) and AWS (Northern Virginia). Sign-in runs on a US-region Auth0 tenant.
Is Yantra a US company?
Yes. Yantra is operated by CDMBase LLC d/b/a Yantra, a US-based company, and our Terms are governed by California law.
Does my data ever leave the United States?
It can when you use a feature that depends on another provider: the AI model provider that answers a prompt, connectors and messaging channels you turn on, the cloud Computer and code sandboxes, and the edge network that serves pages and files you publish. The rest of your workspace stays in the US data centers listed on this page.
Does Yantra train AI models on my content?
No. We do not use your inputs or outputs to train AI models and we do not sell your content. Model providers we route requests to are bound by agreements that prohibit training on it.
How do I delete my data?
Email support@yantra.app and ask us to delete your Yantra account and its associated data.
